DAY-OF PLAN
Know the sequence before you go.
Times from the operator are kept separate from Korea Era planning guidance.
01
Check Monday closure and the dated summer notice
The official guide currently lists 09:00-18:00 with final admission at 17:00 and Monday closure. July-August hours can change by separate notice, so use the dated cave page rather than a directory listing.
02
Enter with enough time for the complete route
The official estimate is 30-90 minutes and summer crowds can lengthen it. Admission closes one hour before the venue, and exhibition or combined-ticket products do not create a later cave entry.
03
Keep a warm layer and follow the controlled route
The cave stays at 12°C or below through the year and can be humid. Stay inside the signed safety zone, keep food outside and follow staff directions around stairs, narrow passages and wet surfaces.

4. Traveler tips
Carry a light jacket and wear shoes with grip; the temperature difference is sharp in summer and cave surfaces can be damp.
Choose the west or east approach before travelling because parking, bus access and the walk to the entrance are not interchangeable.
Check the dated official notice on the morning of a July-August visit or a public holiday before relying on the standard hours.
Search “광명동굴” in Naver Map or Kakao Map before departure.
Recheck current hours, closures, tickets and transport with the operator on the day.
The pin uses an audited mapped destination coordinate; still select the correct gate or entrance for the final walking route.
