1
Place

Gwangjang Market

Line 1, Jongno 5-ga Exit 8. Covered, so it works in rain. Bindaetteok and mayak gimbap, eaten standing at the stall.

2
Place

Tongin Market

Line 3, Gyeongbokgung Exit 2. The one where participating stalls fill a lunchbox you pay for with tokens — the most self-explanatory of the four if nobody speaks English.

3
Place

Namdaemun Market

Line 4, Hoehyeon Exit 7. The largest of the four, with cutlassfish and kalguksu alleys near Sungnyemun.

4
Place

Mangwon Market

Line 6, Exit 2. Snacks to carry rather than a sit-down meal — Mangwon Hangang Park is a short walk away.
