Use the official immigration, embassy or K-ETA pages for the exact passport, trip purpose and arrival date. Record what applies and the date checked rather than copying another traveler's result.
Watch out Search advertisements and paid application agents can resemble a government page. Start from the official domain and never let a community answer decide entry eligibility.
Use the official e-Arrival Card navigator within its current submission window and follow the result for this traveler. Save the official completion record only if the process requires one.
Watch out Do not pay a third party for the free government declaration or assume that a companion's exemption also applies to you.
Save the Korean accommodation name and road address, public entrance instructions, booking contact, terminal, official transport links and 112, 119 and 1330. Keep a copy reachable without a new login or search.
Watch out Keep room numbers, door codes, passport images and booking credentials out of any screenshot you might show, post or send to a public community.
Compare roaming, eSIM and physical SIM using the phone's lock status, eSIM support, voice-number need, data allowance, activation timing and provider support. Save the activation instructions offline.

Watch out A fixed article time is not a last-train promise. Protect every transfer and keep the airport's current late-night bus or designated-taxi fallback until the accommodation entrance is confirmed.
Use pay-as-you-go transit or compare a time pass only after checking the actual city, lines, airport legs and travel days. Confirm the current seller, purchase method, reload method, service area and refund terms for that product.
Watch out Do not buy overlapping products because both appear in a checklist. Airport and regional legs may sit outside a city pass even when ordinary city travel is covered.

Landing in Seoul is not the moment to solve every detail of your trip. Your first job is smaller: get from the correct airport terminal to the actual entrance of your accommodation, with a way to pay and someone to contact if the plan changes. Leave sightseeing until those pieces are secure. The checklist below is an arrival-day planning tool, not a promise about immigration queues, transport departures or hotel opening hours.
Create one note containing your accommodation's Korean name, road address, public entrance instructions and contact number. Add your arrival terminal and the transport options you intend to compare. Save a copy you can open without searching or signing in again. Keep it separate from the private note containing your booking reference or access instructions. A screenshot you show for directions should not reveal a room number, door code or passport image.
When you can use your phone, test the functions you actually need: open the saved destination and send a message to your accommodation. If your mobile plan is not working, use the offline note and ask an airport information desk for the next transport step. Write down two possible journeys, each ending at the accommodation door. Include the airport departure point, any transfer, the final stop and the walk after it. A route is useful only if the whole chain works. Before buying a ticket, ask: can I board this service, make the onward connection and reach the entrance before the agreed check-in cutoff? Include time to collect luggage and find the departure point. A fast first leg does not settle those questions.
Prepare a backup payment method you can reach if the first one fails. Ask what the specific ticket seller or transit-card reload point accepts before authorizing payment. Do not assume that a card accepted at a shop will work for a different transaction. Avoid buying several passes simply because they appear in a checklist. Compare coverage with the journeys you intend to take; this section does not calculate a cheapest product or prescribe a cash amount.
If a delay leaves a transfer or check-in uncertain, stop adding activities. Check the airport's current transport information, then contact the accommodation about the revised arrival. Keep an alternative route ready, but do not treat the existence of a late-night transport page as proof that a service will reach your particular destination tonight. Once inside, charge your phone, put the address note where you can find it again and save one destination for the next morning. Your first day has succeeded when you have reached the right place without losing access to your next step. Any optional evening outing should start with a fresh return-route check, not a timetable copied before the flight.
