Missed the last train in Seoul

Published version 1 · 2026-10-20

If the last useful subway has gone: - Confirm with the station display or staff that no train in your direction still reaches your stop. - Have your accommodation's Korean name, road address and phone number ready, and check that someone can let you in late. - Check a live late-night (N) bus route: the stop, direction, arrival estimate and the walk at the other end. - Or use an official taxi stand or a ride-hailing app, match the plate, and confirm the meter or app fare before you leave. - While you wait, stay inside a staffed, lit place such as an open station area or a hotel lobby, and save phone battery. Call 112 for threats or crime and 119 for medical or fire emergencies. 1330 can help with non-emergency interpretation.
