Emergency numbers in Korea: 112, 119 and 1330

Published version 1 · 2026-10-20

- 112: police, for an active crime, violence, a threat or danger. - 119: fire, rescue and emergency medical help. - 1330: Korea's non-emergency travel helpline for tourist information and interpretation. It is not an emergency service. When you call - Start with where you are: the Korean road address, the station and exit number, the building name, the floor or a visible landmark. - Then say what is happening and the language you need, and follow the dispatcher's instructions. Prepare now - Save your accommodation's Korean name, road address and phone number where you can open them offline. - Keep your embassy's official contact details for a lost passport or a consular problem.
