Portable, fast and easy to split if jet lag limits your appetite.
No hot water or microwave needed on the platform; eat strong-smelling food considerately.
One microwave workflow is easier than juggling several hot products in a small store.
These can be mild, but the exact filling and stock still need a label check.
Do not infer vegan status from vegetables; rice rolls, kimchi and broths often hide animal ingredients.
PACK LABEL FIRST
Follow the numbered wrapper tabs so the seaweed stays crisp; fillings are printed on the front.
Check: Tuna usually means mayonnaise; kimchi or bibimbap fillings may contain pork, beef, fish sauce or spice.Eat chilled or heat only when the label provides microwave instructions; check the use-by time first.
Check: Standard rolls often include egg, ham and fish cake. A vegetable name does not guarantee a vegan roll.Remove any sauce packet or item marked for removal, loosen the lid and follow the printed microwave time.
Check: Multiple side dishes mean multiple allergens; pork, egg, soy, wheat and shellfish can share one tray.Add the packets, fill only to the marked line and wait for the printed number of minutes.
Check: Most soup bases contain meat or seafood. Red packaging is not a reliable spice scale; read the Korean heat cues.Add sauce and water only as the pack directs, vent the lid and use the stated microwave time.
Check: Fish cake, seafood stock, wheat and very high heat are common even when the front mainly shows rice cakes.Use the microwave instructions for that exact tray; frozen and chilled packs need different times.
Check: Fillings commonly contain pork, egg, tofu and wheat wrappers. Steam can burn when the film is opened. Some packs are ready to eat cold; heat only when the label gives a microwave time.
Check: Hot bars are often fish cake, not vegetarian. Sausages may mix pork and chicken and contain milk or wheat.Peel and eat without heating; smaller two-egg packs are practical for a travel day.
Check: Contains egg; seasoned packs can add soy. Never microwave an egg in its shell.Open or vent as directed and heat the pouch or bowl for the exact printed time.
Check: Abalone, beef and chicken varieties are common; even vegetable porridge may use animal stock.Choose the latest use-by time and keep it chilled until you eat it.
Check: Egg, mayonnaise, ham, cheese and wheat are common. Display photos do not show every sauce or filling.Keep the dressing separate until eating and check whether a fork is included before leaving.
Check: Chicken, egg, cheese and creamy dressing may be packed separately. A green bowl is not automatically vegetarian.Buy it hot when available or follow the pack's short microwave instruction.
Check: Red-bean, vegetable, pizza and meat fillings differ; wheat is typical and the center can be extremely hot.Drink chilled and check the bottle size rather than assuming every shape is one serving.
Check: Contains dairy and sugar unless clearly labeled otherwise. Flavor does not mean the drink is lactose-free.Keep chilled; spoon yogurt and small drink bottles may sit in different parts of the case.
Check: Contains dairy unless a plant-based label is explicit. Granola toppings can add wheat and nuts.Choose a bar or small cup for a solo serving and eat it before continuing a long walk.
Check: Milk, nuts, soy and wheat can appear in coatings and cones; flavors and collaborations change quickly.USE THE STORE
Official tourism sources establish the food categories and store culture. Product stock, packaging, ingredients, promotions and equipment must still be checked at the branch.
