What overrides the itinerary

A cold-wave or heavy-snow alert overrides the itinerary. An outdoor market or a light walk is a different plan at minus ten with wind.
Event closing times, crowd controls and station exit restrictions are final, and holiday hours differ from ordinary ones. Many venues close on the day itself.
Turn back when a lit street stops moving, and go indoors before anyone stops feeling their hands. A queue in the cold is not a romantic plan.
