Where our information comes from
Place and event records are built from official sources: the Korea Tourism Organization, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and its open data service, venue operators, and government portals. Every public record keeps a link to the source it came from and the date we last checked it.
Automatically collected records are held to a stricter default than editorial ones. They are not published as standalone search pages, are not indexed, and carry no advertising until a person has reviewed them and added information a traveler cannot get from the raw source.
What we do not collect
We do not scrape search results, blogs, social media posts, or ticketing screens. Where an official API does not exist, we only consider a source after reviewing its terms of use and robots policy.
Photography and media
Photographs are used only when their license permits it. Each image displays its creator, the license, and a link to the original. We do not hotlink or copy event posters, ticketing artwork, or photographs whose rights are unclear.
Images uploaded by travelers must be theirs to share. Uploading gives us permission to display the image within the service. Location metadata is stripped from uploads.
Our own writing
Guides, summaries, and practical notes written by Korea Now are our own work. The underlying facts belong to the operators and agencies we cite, and we keep those citations visible so you can verify anything before you travel.
Reporting a problem
If you believe content here infringes your rights, tell us what the material is, where it appears, what right you hold, and how to reach you. We remove or restrict material while we review it, and removal propagates to derived images and cached share cards.
Copyright and attribution notices can be sent to privacy@mycorepick.com until a dedicated rights address is published.
Corrections
Operating hours, fares, and schedules change. Every place and guide shows when it was last checked, and any page can be reported as out of date. We correct the record rather than silently deleting it.
This policy describes how the service currently operates. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer in every country we serve, and it is not legal advice.
