Protect phone batteries and carry a warm layer even for a short photo stop.
Use cleared public paths; untouched snow is not permission to enter planted or closed ground.

STOP SIGNALS

What overrides the itinerary

A heavy-snow or cold-wave alert overrides the itinerary. Seoul clears the main roads quickly and leaves the stairs and alleys you came to walk.
Palace, park and wall-path closures, bus detours and station exit controls are final. A snow day changes the route before it changes the timetable.
Turn back on packed snow and black ice, above all on the stone steps and steep lanes that make these views. Ordinary shoes are the usual injury.
