Four steps that reduce guesswork
1Choose one Euljiro block and a public meeting point. Much of this route is unmarked upper floors reached through print-shop doorways, so the block matters more than the name.
2Check tonight's hours and whether walk-ins are taken on the venue's own channel. Euljiro rooms are small, often cash-friendly and closed on their own schedule.
3Set your leave time against the last Line 2 or Line 3 train. The printing district empties early and the lights go out with it.
4Record the building, floor and entrance you actually used in Footprints. On this route that is the hardest information to get right.
SAFETY & RETURN
Share landmarks, not your room
Never leave a drink unattended or accept an opened drink from a stranger. Do not drive after drinking.
Share only a public meeting point. Keep your accommodation address and live room details private.
Use a licensed taxi, confirm the plate in the app and use 112 for an immediate police emergency.
CONSENT & ETIQUETTE
Drinks and second rounds are optional
Ordering alcohol is optional and a clear no should end the offer. A small room makes refusing feel harder, not less allowed.
Ask before photographing people, performers or another table. Euljiro's workshops and pubs share the same buildings, and the workers did not sign up to be scenery.
Keep voices and groups clear of residential doors, pavements and station gates, and keep stairwells clear too. They are the only way out of most of these rooms.
