What can still change

• These are six alternatives arranged as three geographic pairs, not one rainy-day route. Pick the zone closest to your accommodation; do not cross the island simply to collect every indoor pin.
• Ordinary rain and a severe-weather alert are different plans. Check the Korea Meteorological Administration’s current warning map before departure. Heavy rain, strong wind, wind waves or a typhoon are reasons to reduce movement, avoid coasts and follow local instructions.
• Do not substitute a cave, waterfall, cliff, oreum, beach or coastal road because it looks dramatic in rain. Water level, rockfall, flooding, waves, lightning, wind and access controls can change faster than a saved itinerary.
• Jeju National Museum’s official visitor page lists Monday and named major holidays as closures. Permanent admission is generally free, but special exhibitions, children’s spaces, immersive screenings and programs can follow separate booking or capacity rules.
• Jeju Museum of Art’s official tourism listing names Monday and major listed holidays as closures. Confirm the current exhibition, paid admission, last entry and indoor-gallery access; the outdoor sculpture area is not part of a heavy-rain plan.
• Jeju Aerospace Museum’s official listing names the third Monday as a closure and a last-entry cutoff before closing. Recheck the operator page for tickets, individual attractions, maintenance, theater sessions and accessibility.
• OSULLOC combines free or public-facing museum and commercial spaces. Tea House products, ingredients and availability vary, while Tea Stone programs require separate live booking; do not assume the tea field or garden is suitable in severe weather.
• Jeju Haenyeo Museum’s current official listing names the first Monday as a closure. Use the indoor galleries to understand working culture respectfully; rain does not guarantee a live dive, demonstration or safe coastal add-on.
• Aqua Planet is the expensive commercial option, not a compulsory east-Jeju stop. Confirm the operator’s current ticket, last entry, animal presentation schedule and access rules; no show, feeding, interaction or crowd level is guaranteed.
• Public-transport travelers should rebuild the selected pair with the live Jeju Bus Information System. Rural gaps, wet walks and the final bus can make one anchor more useful than two.
• If flying or taking a ferry, check the operator and terminal status directly; an indoor plan does not protect a departure from wind or weather disruption. Keep the return buffer larger than on a clear day.
• Keep a charged phone and dry layer. Call 112 for police, 119 for fire or medical emergency and 1330 for multilingual travel help; use 131 for Korea Meteorological Administration weather information when appropriate.
