What can still change

• This is a genuine one-night, two-day itinerary: Day 1 has three beats, then a booked overnight near Sokcho Beach or the express-terminal side, and Day 2 has three beats before departure. It is not six stops compressed into one day.
• The 09:00 arrival is a pacing target, not a published coach time. Check the operator and terminal shown on the live ticket; Sokcho Express Bus Terminal and Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal are different places.
• Bag storage is not guaranteed by a station icon or hotel picture. Ask the booked accommodation or staffed storage desk about eligibility, hours, fee, claim method and collection deadline before relying on it, and never leave luggage unattended.
• Check Korea National Park Service trail controls and Korea Meteorological Administration warnings before travelling to Seoraksan. Rain, wind, heat, snow, ice, poor visibility, fire restrictions or an official closure override the saved itinerary.
• Choose one light park route only. The city presents Heundeulbawi, Biryong Falls and Biseondae as approachable options, but their one-way distances still require a return, suitable footwear, water and daylight; live signs and staff instructions are authoritative.
• A summit, Daecheongbong or long Ulsanbawi outing changes the whole trip. Give a demanding hike its own day and remove the beach and Day 2 city promise rather than using this schedule as a descent deadline.
• Seorak Cable Car is optional and is not required by this itinerary. Its operator publishes the operating time on the day, does not accept advance reservations, sells tickets on site and can suspend service for weather or wind.
• Sokcho City currently points visitors to routes 7 and 7-1 for Seoraksan, but schedules and useful last returns can change. Use the live Sokcho bus information system and confirm direction before boarding; keep a taxi fallback within the group's budget.
• Sokcho Beach is a public walk here, not a swimming or sunset guarantee. Managed swimming dates, lifeguards, water access, pets, fireworks and weather restrictions follow the current beach notice and signs.
• The accommodation image is illustrative, not a recommendation or proof of vacancy. Use the current city accommodation directory, verify the property's registration, total price, cancellation, check-in, accessibility and emergency exit, and pay through a channel you trust.
• Yeonggeumjeong is on a public deck, but the surrounding rocks can be wave-wet. Stay behind barriers and skip it in strong wind, high waves, ice or unsafe darkness.
• Abai Village is a living community shaped by people displaced from Hamgyeong-do during the Korean War. Keep residential lanes quiet, ask before photographing people and treat the gaetbae as a separate live service; the official city page currently says pets are not allowed.
• Market stalls set their own hours, prices, card acceptance, allergens and seafood preparation charges. Check the displayed price and final total before ordering, retrieve the bag early and preserve the departure buffer.
• Carry a charged phone, save both terminal names in Korean and share the overnight address. Call 112 for police, 119 for fire or medical emergency and 1330 for multilingual travel support.
