JOURNEY CREATOR STANDARD

Creator video policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This policy governs external videos submitted with a Journey, including publication review, captions, music and people shown. Korea Era does not copy, proxy or auto-embed the original video. An approved Journey can show one direct link to a YouTube, Instagram Reel or TikTok video controlled by its creator.

Before you submit

People, children and private spaces

Obtain consent when an identifiable person is a main subject. If you cannot verify consent, crop or obscure faces and identifying details, or remove the scene. An incidental crowd is not blanket permission for every use. We apply stricter review to children, medical situations, accommodation interiors and private conversations.

Music, performances and screens

Declare whether the video has no music, uses music you own, has a separate licence, or uses the original provider's licensed library. Buying a ticket or attending a venue does not by itself establish permission to republish a performance, recording or broadcast screen. Remove material whose publication rights you cannot establish.

Captions, transcript and accessibility

Every submission must have captions on the original provider or a transcript supplied to Korea Era, with its language identified. The accessibility summary must describe important action, places, signs and useful travel context without requiring the video. Review automatic captions before publication and correct names, places, prices, transport instructions and meaningful sounds.

What human review means

A moderator checks the direct source URL, channel-control explanation, caption method, and the music and likeness declarations. The submission is private to its author until approval, and an edit returns it to private review. Approval means the supplied evidence met our publishing standard at review time. It is not a legal ownership judgment or a guarantee of current travel conditions.

Hiding, removal and reports

We may hide or remove a video if its destination changes, captions disappear, a rights declaration is inaccurate, or a safety or privacy issue is reported. A person shown or a rights holder can email koreaera.official@gmail.com with the original URL, the relevant timestamp and the minimum information needed to explain their connection to the request.

Recheck Korea-specific rules on filming day

Venue rules and temporary restrictions can change. Drone recording may require an approval or another procedure depending on the place, altitude and purpose, so check the official Drone One Stop portal for the exact date and location. Korea Era review never replaces a filming permit.
